Responsibilities
Join a high-performance R&D team located primarily in Santa Rosa, CA and partnering closely with teams around the globe
Create, validate, and implement technology involving high performance digital baseband, Keysight’s next generation ASICs, analog and digital phase-lock-loop structures and microwave/mm-wave solutions
Focus on digital architectures and designs including timing and synchronization for complex solutions
Qualification
Required
BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Minimum of 8 years relevant job experience or education beyond a bachelor's degree
Proven experience in driving architectures for digital hardware solutions
Strong collaboration skills with cross-organizational teams
Proficiency in PCIe and other common digital bus standards
Familiarity with modular systems (such as PXIe)
Knowledge of techniques for time and phase alignment in digital systems
Expertise in hardware circuit board design of digital assemblies, including FPGAs and DRAM
Self-motivated, quick learner with excellent analytical skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Flexibility, adaptability, and eagerness to push technical boundaries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa or Santa Clara, CA
Preferred
Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment
Familiarity with common computer-on-module standards
Knowledge of signal integrity simulation and measurement tools
Experience with object-oriented programming
Strong understanding of FPGA techniques for clock phase rotation and time alignment of data streams
Expertise in techniques for time synchronization and phase alignment across multiple instruments
Familiarity with the latest FPGA tool flows and design methodologies
