They are looking for a Stormwater Transportation Engineer Intern for Summer 2025 to join their design group, where the intern will work on engineering design for roadway drainage and design-build projects.

Responsibilities
Work on Engineering design for numerous roadway drainage and design-build projects including collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates and bridge replacements across the southeast
Assist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system design, post-construction water quality structures design, and erosion and sedimentation control
Prepare construction plans, project displays, cost estimates, reports and technical memos
Utilize various design software including MicroStation, Inroads, GeoPak, Open Roads, AutoCAD Civil 3d, Microsoft Excel, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-MS, HY8, FlowMaster, Pond Pack, CulvertMaster, ICPR and StormCAD to assist with the design and preparation of construction plans
Work efficiently both independently, with little supervision, and collaboratively in a team setting
Complete a wide range of tasks in both office and field
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field
Preferred
Prior experience with drainage design
Experience with software platforms such as Bentley's StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, and Pond Pack, HEC-RAS, HEC-MS, HY8, ICPR, and/or SWMM
