Pharmacy Intern - Inpatient

Responsibilities
Review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential and actual drug related issues
Recommend formulary alternatives when appropriate
Compound and prepare medications for delivery to patient care areas
Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients
Communicate with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy Program meeting education requirements to qualify for an Intern License in the State of Ohio OR international pharmacy experience meeting the requirements to qualify for the Foreign Graduate Pharmacy Intern License
Current State Board of Pharmacy Intern License (PH/INT) before hire
Preferred
Seeking a student currently P1 through P3 of pharmacy school
