Senior IT Engineer, Salesforce - Leader in Transitioning To Clean Energy

Responsibilities
Design and implement forward-thinking strategies to unify, secure, and optimize enterprise technology assets across multiple business units
Maintain an authoritative inventory of systems, configurations, and integrations, ensuring transparency and control over the technology ecosystem
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and IT leadership to shape and deliver on key organizational objectives
Establish and enforce standards, patterns, and reference architectures across your domain to drive consistency and best practices
Create and review design artifacts to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and long-term strategic direction
Lead updates of product standards, versions, and technical baselines across assigned technology domains
Drive disciplined portfolio management, balancing innovation with cost control and risk reduction
Direct the execution of technology roadmap initiatives from concept through delivery, championing adoption of best practices and industry standards
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate technology risks while communicating clear recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
Serve as a trusted advisor to project managers, program leads, and senior leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience as a Salesforce Architect or Engineer with deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise solutions
Proven ability to operate effectively within outsourced or hybrid IT environments, coordinating across multiple vendors and internal teams
Strong knowledge of both legacy and modern computing architectures, with a track record of managing technology transitions
Hands-on experience managing technology costs, optimizing spend, and aligning budgets with business priorities
Exposure to a broad range of technologies within a given domain, with the ability to evaluate and recommend the right tools for the job
At least 1 year of project management experience, demonstrating leadership in complex initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience delivering enterprise technology solutions
