Kinesiology Faculty (Assistant or Associate Professor) - Biomechanics – Tenure Track
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in biomechanics within the Department of Kinesiology. The role involves securing funding for research, publishing in reputable journals, and providing instruction at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities
Mentor/advise graduate and undergraduate students
Pursue extramural funding to support research
Publish research in high quality refereed scientific journals
Participate in faculty governance and other service to the university, department, and profession
Participate in interdisciplinary and collaborative efforts within the Department of Kinesiology, with other departments, schools, and colleges on campus
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses within the Department of Kinesiology
Qualification
Required
Expertise in the study of biomechanics as it relates to health across the lifespan (healthspan)
For applicants at the Assistant Professor level - evidence of established scholarship and potential for securing extramural funding
For applicants at the Associate Professor level - evidence of scholarship with international significance and record of securing extramural funding
Record of publication in high-quality refereed scientific journals
Evidence of successful teaching experience at the university level
Candidates should have earned or be completing a PhD or terminal degree in education or related field to be conferred by the start date of the position
