Testing & Commissioning Administrator

The Testing & Commissioning Administrator will oversee and execute the testing, commissioning, and validation of systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards while collaborating with various teams to deliver operational systems on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules. Coordinate with client, contractors, vendors, and project teams for pre-commissioning requirements
Review each system of design drawings (Include: Equipment Schedule and P&ID drawings) to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Perform Validation Field walks of all Equipment status and record data into UIS CxAlloy equipment tracking application
Perform on-site testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and/or specialized systems
Ensure proper functionality, safety, and performance of systems in accordance with project specifications
Identify and troubleshoot issues during the commissioning phase and provide solutions
Maintain accurate records of testing and commissioning activities, including results and observations in MEP, Cleanroom, PCW (Process Cooling Water), HVAC, and AAS (Air Abatement) systems
Prepare and submit commissioning reports and certificates for client approval. Perform daily site visits
Ensure adherence to Owner RFP requirements, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures during commissioning activities
Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and site supervisors to ensure alignment of objectives
Provide training and handover documentation to the client or end-users
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED and/or Trade school
1-3+ years of proven experience as a Field Coordinator in Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Oil/Gas, or other related Construction
Strong understanding of Testing and Commissioning methodology and processes
Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and transportation requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints
Ability to learn and comprehend BIM 360 and CxAlloy software
High level of attention to detail, and highly organized
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees
Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude
Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed
The role involves extended periods standing, walking and/or of sitting while working at a computer
Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary
