Director of Partnerships

The Director of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to drive growth and revenue, requiring strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the influencer marketing landscape.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the overall influencer partnership strategy to increase brand visibility and revenue
Identify, vet, and build long-term relationships with high-impact influencers, creators, and agencies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, etc.)
Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to integrate influencer campaigns into broader go-to-market strategies
Act as the primary point of contact for top-tier influencer partners
Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and performance terms ensuring alignment with business goals
Manage ongoing influencer relations to ensure long-term collaboration and loyalty
Set KPIs and measure ROI of influencer campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies
Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership on partnership performance
Lead and mentor a partnerships team (influencer managers, coordinators, analysts)
Collaborate with brand, social, and content teams to ensure influencer initiatives are on-message and on-brand
Stay current on emerging trends in influencer marketing, platform changes, and competitive activity

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
8–10+ years in influencer marketing, partnerships, business development, or related field
Proven track record of developing influencer programs at scale and driving measurable results
Experience working with influencer agencies, PR firms, or creator economy platforms
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
Deep familiarity with influencer platforms, trends, and social media ecosystems
Understanding of FTC guidelines and compliance for influencer marketing
Strategic thinker with ability to balance long-term vision and near-term execution
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build authentic, trust-based partnerships
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the creator economy
