Responsibilities

Collaborate with the accounting team to manage and support the accounting operations and needs of the client, ensuring high-quality service delivery
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and accounting operations specific to the client needs
Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to support operational goals
Provide technical accounting guidance and support as needed
Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations specific to client accounts
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and workflow
Manage day-to-day accounting activities in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial analysis and reporting
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and demonstrated expertise in preparing accurate financial statements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, and willingness to dive into day-to-day operations
Proven success in fast-paced, dynamic, and complex work environments
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, fostering collaboration and trust

Preferred

CPA preferred
Prior experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is beneficial and preferred
