Regional Asset Protection Manager

Responsibilities
Manage / implement / support business partners in shrink reduction through data analysis and delivery of exception reports that will highlight inventory /cash loss, fraudulent behavior and irregular activity
Partner with other departments to help drive shrink discussion concerning current and future processes where shrink may be negatively impacted or incorrectly recorded
Develop self-initiated ad-hoc analysis based on understanding of current business goals/initiatives using POS, inventory, and other exception reporting tools to monitor trends and develop investigations that are brought to fruition
Develop / implement / manage ongoing Training and Awareness Prevention Programs to ensure store level compliance, communication and execution of 'Best Practices', and an overall monetary reduction in losses, safety, and liability expenses
Manage / analyze market, district, and unit needs specific to assigned geographic areas and direct the development and implementation of loss prevention/asset protection programs to meet them
Conduct business/LP/AP reviews to detect areas of vulnerability and/or violations of company policies and procedures
Develop / conduct / manage internal theft investigations, and interview witnesses and suspects
Develop / manage relationships with local law enforcement liaisons to facilitate cooperation with regards to internal/external theft investigations
Identify internal control issues to include oversight of external and internal audit programs to develop / manage /implement processes to mitigate areas of opportunity
Assist in the recovery and restitution of company losses
Perform special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
High level of initiative and probing nature
Knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and relational database structures
Advanced Access and Excel skills
College degree (4 year) or equivalent experience (8+ years), plus 6 years experience in retail Loss Prevention/Asset Protection
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High degree of flexibility with complete ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks daily
Self motivated with the ability to work independently
Solid analytical, investigative and interview skills
Demonstrate advanced math proficiency, ability to analyze
Preferred
Loss Prevention/Asset Protection background preferred
