Responsibilities

Daily management or monitoring over the constellation collection schedule
Perform analysis of future and current projects for estimated completion timelines
Facilitate procedure creation and maintenance
Responsible for supporting the implementation of collection strategies, capacity management and operational workflows to meet customer requirements
Conduct post-mission analyses to evaluate the success of the mission and identify areas for improvement
Work closely with operational and customer facing stakeholders to maintain visibility on collection fulfillment schedules
Provide effective performance-related communication with team members, cross-departmental staff, and customers regarding status, milestones, issues, and resolutions
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under time-sensitive deadlines
Support improvements to operational process and systems needed to execute the mission with efficiency and effectiveness
Escalate operational issues as needed with team management and technical support teams
Daily coordination with Mission Operations & Mission Engineering Leadership

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or an ability to acquire/maintain a clearance
Associate's degree in engineering, GIS, geography, math, physics, or a related field. Two additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
Experience in an operations or satellite planning systems environment
Experience working with GIS software
Ability to accommodate support outside of regular work hours as required for a 24/7 Operations environment
Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments
Must possess/demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Calm disposition in stressful situations
Ability to support time-sensitive requirements
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred

Strong ability to communicate technical issues with engineers
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
Creative thinker who looks for the best solution for all stakeholders
Familiarity with remote sensing products and applications
Ability to develop corrective actions and preventative solutions
