Responsibilities

Be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks
Gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks
Effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly
Provide assistance during startup
Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead
Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 6 years of engineering experience of building electrical systems
At least 2 years of electrical design experience for semiconductor, data center, or mission critical facilities
Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP
Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards
Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components, such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred

Medium Voltage (MV) design experience
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Team leadership and client interaction experience
