In this role, you'll collaborate with top transportation experts and lead traffic operations/studies projects, while also mentoring less experienced staff and ensuring quality control of deliverables.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation

Lead studies and capacity analysis projects

Prepare feasibility studies, interchange studies and traffic analysis for INDOT, local agencies, and clients throughout the country

Develop and mentor less experienced traffic engineering staff

Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery

Maintain quality control of services and deliverables

Engage with the transportation industry to identify marketing opportunities and build strategic business development relationships

Serve as a go-to expert, providing technical guidance and support on traffic studies and capacity analysis

Traffic engineering analysis softwareProfessional Engineer (PE) registrationBachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringProject Management experienceCommunication skillsMicrosoft Office proficiencyBluebeam/Adobe Pro proficiencyInterest in transportation engineeringSelf-motivatedAdaptable

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program

Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Indiana or eligibility for registration through reciprocity

8+ years of related traffic operations/studies

Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam/Adobe Pro

Proficiency in traffic engineering analysis software (HCS, Synchro, Sidra)

Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools

Preferred

PTOE desirable

Vissim and TransModeler experience is beneficial

Prior Project Management experience desired
