Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Partner with marketing, operations, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to define and execute product lifecycle roadmaps that exceed customer expectations and meet business goals
Operational Excellence: Oversee all on-market support activities—troubleshooting, sustaining engineering, product enhancements, and lifecycle management—ensuring our diagnostics portfolio remains best-in-class
Team Empowerment: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team committed to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Innovation & Improvement: Champion process improvements, drive root cause analysis, and lead change management efforts to deliver timely, effective product enhancements
Customer & Patient Focus: Serve as a key escalation point for complex product issues, ensuring rapid resolution and clear communication with all stakeholders
Compliance & Quality: Uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance, documentation, and validation—always putting patient safety and customer satisfaction first
Qualification
Required
10+ years' experience in R&D, product development, or sustaining engineering (with at least 5 years in senior leadership), ideally in diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences
Deep technical expertise in molecular biology, testing laboratory practices (CLIA, CAP), and regulatory environments (FDA, ISO, CE Mark)
Proven success leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Passion for operational excellence, innovation, and building inclusive, collaborative teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
