They are seeking a Special Education Teacher (Per Diem) who will provide individualized instruction, assess student progress, and collaborate with school leadership to enhance educational outcomes.

Responsibilities
Provide individualized and small group instruction using specialized curricula and long-term scope & sequence plans
Assess student progress using varied methods to support growth toward IEP goals
Design and implement goals that align with students' IEPs
Collaborate with the Dean of Special Service or the Compliance Coordinator and the school team to improve instructional, culture-building leadership skills
Qualification
Required
Provide individualized and small group instruction using specialized curricula and long-term scope & sequence plans
Assess student progress using varied methods to support growth toward IEP goals
Design and implement goals that align with students' IEPs
Strong instructional and classroom management skills
High level of personal organization and planning
Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth, openly listening and reflecting on input from others
Experience working with K-12 students
Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0
Connecticut requires all teacher to be certified or in the process of obtaining a certification
Preferred
Two years of teaching experience preferred
Master's degree preferred
If your GPA is between 2.5 and 3.0, you may submit additional recommendations to be considered
Spanish language proficiency is a plus
