Water Resources Project Manager

Otak is currently seeking to hire a Water Resources Project Manager to join their Water and Natural Resources team. Responsibilities

Manage multidisciplinary teams and project delivery, with a focus on stormwater infrastructure, fish passage, river and stream restoration, and flood mitigation projects in Puget Sound
Prepare various reports supporting design decisions and permitting
Direct and oversee the preparation of floodplain and watershed studies, hydrologic and hydraulic design reports, and construction documents
Guide staff in preparing design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Develop and manage project scopes, schedules and budgets
Participate in team strategy meetings on business development and technical delivery
Support client development and proposal activities
Support Otak’s Transportation, Planning, and Architecture business units

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering required
Minimum of 8 years of previous Project Management/Project Engineering experience in stream/river restoration design, or related field
Must possess a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with preparation of construction documents for project designs and permits supported by hydrologic, hydraulic, and geomorphic calculations
Demonstrated success managing projects from design through construction
Experience with SWMM, HSPF, HEC-RAS, SRH-2D or similar hydrologic and hydraulic models
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, and/or AutoCAD
Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple project tasks with simultaneous deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed
