Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is a leading middle-market investment bank and full service broker-dealer. They are currently seeking a research associate to support their Consumer Growth & E-Commerce team, focusing on developing and marketing equity research products.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Support the lead analyst and another research associate on the team on all aspects of developing and marketing equity research products, including research reports, models, and industry analysis
Gain responsibility over a broad array of report writing, model building, and other product maintenance duties
Write and produce equity research reports, company initiations, and marketing presentations—often under very tight time constraints
Build and maintain integrated I/S, B/S, and C/F models and organize and maintain industry data
Interact with internal sales and trading and external clients as time progresses

Required

Strong writing and analytical skills
Strong financial modeling, accounting, valuation, and quantitative skills

Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
PC skills: the position requires strong Excel skills and a fair command of Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and Factset
Strong background in accounting
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to multi-task

Some exposure to equity research
FINRA registrations preferable
