Responsibilities
Create structural steel, reinforced concrete, and site design drawings
Use 3D modeling software to design structures. (CADWorx is preferred)
The Structural Designer uses AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Assists others in gathering field information with supervision
Check own work for completeness before submitting it to leads
Files plots, and checks prints in the project discipline file
Qualification
Required
2-year technical degree with a specialization in computer-aided drafting and design, along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree from an engineering program with 3 years of relevant experience
Driver's license
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
