Project Director, Full-Service Community Schools

Partners for Rural Impact (PRI) is dedicated to ensuring that all children in rural areas achieve success. The Project Director for the Full-Service Community Schools Initiative is responsible for managing the project, developing program operations, and ensuring compliance with guidelines to support the mission of helping all rural students succeed.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the project to include the daily operation of the program through hiring, supervising, training, and guiding staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program activities
Develop and refine program operations to ensure that objectives are met
Ensure the program is in compliance with the DOE guidelines
Ensure the project is operated in a fiscally prudent manner and is in compliance with all fiscal requirements
Work with the Texas Education Agency, Regional Service Centers, partner districts, evaluators and data contractors to implement the FSCS data system; ensure the data drives services; and ensure continuous improvement of services
Compile all required reports accurately and timely
Provide leadership to the FSCS Partnership Council
Identify and engage partners in supporting the FSCS model; develop a sustainability plan to expand and sustain the most effective programs
Other roles/duties will be assigned as necessary to assist and support in the attainment of our mission, All Rural Students Succeed

Required

Master's degree in educational administration, or related field, with a doctorate preferred
Minimum ten years' experience in personnel, program, and fiscal management
Demonstrated experience with federal grants management, including budget responsibility
Demonstrated knowledge and leadership in school reform, college/career readiness, and evaluation
Familiarity with the Full Services Community School Model
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Exceptional Excel skills including data processing, spreadsheet creation, and pivot tables
Valid driver's license
Successfully complete pre-employment background check
Ability to work in a high energy office
Ability to accurately communicate and exchange information with partners, stakeholders, and/or meeting participants
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to operate motor vehicle
Position requires independent travel via car and airplane
