Responsibilities
Assist the Resident Engineer, Office Engineer and Construction Engineer on all administrative tasks of the project in accordance with contract and Sound Transit specifications
Assist the RE team with management of contract documents, distribution and tracking of comments between the design team, construction team and contractor for submittals, RFI's and work directives
Support the field inspection team with daily reports, photo documentation, constructability reviews and overall contractor compliance
Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree in Civil Engineering with 3.0+ GPA
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
