Responsibilities

Set up Server/Network/software Configuration
Write customized automation scripts to increase system efficiency
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Monitor and benchmark test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions
Draft and maintain technical documentations including drawing/diagram
Provide on-site software deployment/customer acceptance verification test

Required

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Minimum 1 year of proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux based environments
Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Python, Perl)
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Solid language programming knowledge
Experience with workload/Resource Managers (e.g., any of Torque, PBS, Slurm)
Experience with virtualization and containerization
Travel required for on-site projects
