Responsibilities

Design circuit architectures to support product verification and validation

Interpret test requirements and electrical test results

Designing and developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)

Use CAD or other PCB design software in preparing PCB assembly and schematic capture

Perform schematic capture and PCB board layout

Analyze and resolve design related issues in a timely manner

Work with design engineers during parts placement and signal routing to ensure PCB design meets all requirements

Review and recommend improvements to existing designs

Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the designs, e.g. mechanical teams to assess board layout, keep outs and assembly hardware

Required

US Citizenship REQUIRED

A.S., B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline

5-10 years of PCB layout and routing experience

Experience with Altium is required

5-10 designing high-speed digital and mixed signal PCBs starting from schematic netlists generated by other design engineers

Experience schematic capture, ces rules, layout, route, drc, dfx, dfm, fabrication files, printed board and printed board assembly drawings, mechanical checks

Experienced with board designs with 16+ layers using buried and blind vias

Experience with design/development of analog and/or digital circuits

Experience with design/development of cables and harnesses

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong analytical skills
