ALTEN is seeking experienced Payroll Subject Matter Experts to support the validation of APAC and EMEA payroll processes during transition to the India-based payroll team. The role involves reviewing existing processes, identifying compliance risks, and ensuring smooth payroll operations across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

Validate payroll processes for Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Japan, and India during transition
Review current payroll practices and assess compliance with local legislation and corporate policies
Provide ADP Streamline expertise to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across payrolls
Identify process gaps and propose best practice recommendations for standardization and improvement
Work collaboratively with India payroll operations team to enable smooth knowledge transfer
Advise on multi-country payroll integration and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Required

Proven experience as a Payroll SME with deep knowledge of ADP Streamline
Strong understanding of local payroll processes, tax laws, and compliance requirements in one or more of the following: Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Japan, India
Ability to work across multi-country payrolls and provide advisory support for both transition and ongoing operations
Skilled in identifying risks, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance
Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with global and regional payroll stakeholders
Deep knowledge of ADP Streamline payroll platform, including process configuration, compliance features, and multi-country payroll support
Strong understanding of country-specific payroll rules, tax laws, and compliance for Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Japan, and India
Ability to assess existing payroll processes, identify gaps, and recommend streamlined, standardized, and compliant practices
Experience supporting payroll transitions to shared service centers, ensuring smooth handover, risk mitigation, and documentation
Strong communication skills to collaborate with global, regional, and local teams, ensuring clear alignment during transition
