The role involves releasing WIP from hold, executing engineering experiments, training operators, and writing process specifications.
Responsibilities
Release WIP from hold
Execute OCAP following process specification
Execute engineering experiment per instruction from engineer
Train/certify operators
Write / Proof-read process specification
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of related experience
Knowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices
In-depth knowledge of unit process
Good written/oral communication skills
Fluency in MS Office suite as well as JMP or other statistics software
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor protocol/requirements
Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods
Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)
Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)
Stand for up to 4 hours at a time
Lift up to 16-30 Pounds
Push/Pull up to 16-30 pounds
Sit for up to 4 hours at a time
Follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards
Execute and maintain the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards
Preferred
GaAs/InP semiconductor processing or optoelectronics device experience
SEM experience is a plus
Knowledge of engineering statistics
