Responsibilities
Manage financial processes and ad hoc portfolio analytics requests in accordance with internal timelines and expectations
Provide financial support and insight to project teams and build business cases to ensure we deliver financial value
Partner with Project Management team to build stronger financial acumen across project teams
Analyze key performance indicators and seek new ways to analyze portfolio performance and returns
Seek opportunities to drive process improvement while also identifying where ‘fit for purpose’ solutions are needed for LSG vs CDG groups respectively
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
Experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, or related financial roles is essential
Strong abilities to interpret complex financial data, perform quantitative analysis, and solve problems
Must have working understanding of discounted cash flows and financial return metrics including IRR, NPV, payback time, and ROIC
Must have strong understanding of P&L
Must be proficient in Excel, including building of financial models
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to building solid relationships and communicating business cases
A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial data and analysis
A strong passion for people, collaboration, and excellence in support of our mission
Preferred
MBA preferred but not required
Experience working with R&D, Manufacturing and/or Product Development teams is preferred
Additional experience with ERP system (eg SAP) and/or project management system (PD Ware) are useful
