Responsibilities
Provider's office is utilized for testing and consultation
Outpatient practice
Working with an interdisciplinary team including health psychology, OT/PT/SLP, care coordination team, SW
Focus on quick follow-up after inpatient stays to serve the goals of UnityPoint Health regarding reducing re-admissions and other metrics
Embrace practices to decrease wait time from referral to evaluation
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Partner closely with other care providers including rehab physicians, hospitalists, primary care, therapists, and social work
Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualification
Required
Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology
Licensed or license eligible in the state of Iowa
Eligible to work in the United States
