Postdoctoral Researcher – Superconducting Devices
Syracuse University is a private, international research university seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the QMODE Laboratory. The role involves conducting theoretical, experimental, and computational research in superconducting and quantum devices, mentoring students, and collaborating on research proposals.

Responsibilities
Carry out basic and applied research to support sponsored projects and prepare research papers for publication
Mentor graduate and undergraduate students working on different projects
Collaborate and participate in submitting research proposals to funding agencies
Work with researchers from multiple disciplines across campus as well as internal (SU) and external academic and industry collaborators
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science
Research experience in one of the following areas: (i) Superconducting devices (ii) Cleanroom experience and nanoscale fabrication (iii) Microwave qubit measurement
Strong experimental skills including hands-on experience with microwave measurement equipment such as real-time oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator as well as cleanroom skills such as lithography, RIE, imaging, wet chemistry
Highly motivated to work with an interdisciplinary team of students (Graduate and Undergraduate) as well as internal (SU) and external academic and industry collaborators
Preferred
