Responsibilities
A Post-Doctoral Research Fellow is an MD or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline. Post-Doctoral Research Fellows may provide clinical and/or scientific services, according to their level of responsibility, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator with the common goal of accelerating the development of new technologies and treatments in assigned area
Qualification
Required
MD or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline
Documentation of completion of all course work, research, and thesis preparation and acceptance necessary to receive their degree
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work independently
Preferred
Relevant background in the fields of biomedical engineering, ophthalmic imaging, vision science, and ophthalmology
Strong engineering background, especially in the field of computer science and optics
Self-motivated
Attention to detail
Eager to learn basic, translational, and clinical research as well as new imaging technologies
