New Grad, Entry LevelReedsburg Area Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Tech to join their team. The pharmacy technician will be responsible for prescription data entry, insurance billing, preparing medications, and providing clinical pharmacy services under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities
Responsible for prescription data entry, insurance billing, preparing medications, completing point of sale transactions, ordering/inventory management, and OTC merchandising
Handle hazardous drugs (chemotherapy) with appropriate primary and secondary engineering controls and comply with rules and regulations to ensure patient safety
Actively involved in the provision of clinical pharmacy services, such as immunizations, point of care testing, medication therapy management (MTM) services, compliance packaging, sample medication management, 340B program medication dispensing and Medicare Part B product dispensing
Essential to process improvement and a vital resource in achieving the strategic goals of the pharmacy department
Qualification
Required
A minimum of high-school diploma or equivalent with competency of basic English and Math skills
Knowledgeable in relevant state and federal regulations and pharmacy policies and practices
Valid Wisconsin Driver's license
Completion of pharmacy technician training or equivalent, as determined by Pharmacy Director
BLS certified
Preferred
National Certification (CPhT) preferred
