They are seeking a Solutions Engineer Intern to collaborate with the Solutions Engineering team and Field Sales to address customer measurement challenges and demonstrate Keysight’s technologies.

Responsibilities
Partner with our solutions engineering team to understand and develop expertise in key high-speed digital and optical test equipment which could include oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, arbitrary waveform generators, protocol analyzers, optical component test solutions, or others
Work in a lab environment alongside other engineers to solve complex customer problems with Keysight’s state of the are test and measurement equipment
Learn the technical sales process and participate in customer engagements with the account management team
Develop application experience in several cutting-edge technologies which may include:
+ PCI Express, CXL, USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, or other computer bus standards
+ IEEE, OIF, and LPO standards for 200G/400G/800G/1.6T/3.2T
+ DDR memory design and test
+ MIPI D/M/C-PHY design and test
+ Automotive electrical communication interfaces
+ Testing related to optical components, optical transceivers, and coherent optical communications
+ Other areas include: signal integrity, jitter analysis, time domain reflectometry, network analysis, protocol analysis, and wideband signal analysis
Qualification
Required
Working toward BS required (or MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
Passion for continuous learning
Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, C, Python, or MATLAB
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
Effective problem-solving skills
Preferred
High-speed digital and/or optical communications interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, IEEE/OIF, silicon photonics, etc)
Test equipment including oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers (BERTs), arbitrary waveform generators, or protocol analyzers
Physical layer technologies used to scale AI infrastructure and compute clusters
