Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach
Park County District No 6 is seeking an Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach to instruct students in the fundamental skills and knowledge of wrestling. Responsibilities
Ability to develop drill and practice activities that teach and enhance individual/team skill development that makes up the game
Develop and maintain an inventory list of equipment
Prepares and implements a schedule of checking out, maintaining, and checking in equipment
Ability to plan and enforce appropriate safety and health rules and regulations
Ability to develop a supervision plan that ensures the safety and welfare of students at all times: locker room, trips, practices, etc
Maintains confidentiality about students and others
Presents a professional appearance
Ability to be an effective communicator with all audiences - players, parents, supervisors, peers and spectators
Ability to receive, understand and follow directions
Be able to model/demonstrate activities and equipment used to develop basic skills or physical condition
Ability to observe, diagnose, and prescribe appropriate remediation activities during practice and game conditions for players and team
Must know and be able to apply the developmental stages of each point of the game to the needs and ability levels of the team/players
Assimilate innovations and adapt to changes when applicable
Support the philosophies of Park County School District #6
May be responsible for supervising students on out-of-town activities. This may involve staying overnight
Qualification
Required
Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming
Possess current CPR certification
Possess current First Aid certification
Have fundamental knowledge of the sport
Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course
Ability to select from a variety of instruction methods to teach activity objectives
Ability to develop drill and practice activities that teach and enhance individual/team skill development that makes up the game

Ability to plan and enforce appropriate safety and health rules and regulations

Ability to remove an injured player from the court
