Responsibilities
Drive Strategic Initiatives: Identify, scope, and lead mission-critical projects that define Brain Co.’s growth trajectory across product, go-to-market, and operations
Support Executive Decision-Making: Partner with leadership on strategic planning, fundraising support, board materials, and investor communications
Build Scalable Systems: Design and implement frameworks for operational excellence across functions including finance, GTM, hiring, and partnerships
Operationalize Insights: Translate complex data and analysis into actionable recommendations, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable impact
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as connective tissue between product, engineering, GTM, and operations — driving alignment and accountability
Execution at Speed: Lead from the front, ensuring projects are not only designed well but also executed to a high standard on aggressive timelines
Qualification
Required
12–15+ years of professional experience
Background in top-tier consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) and/or investment banking / private equity
Proven operating experience in high-growth startups; ability to scale systems and processes under pressure
Demonstrated track record of owning and delivering cross-functional initiatives with material business impact
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to distill complexity into clarity
Executive-level communication and presence; able to influence senior stakeholders and external partners
Hands-on, low-ego approach; comfortable rolling up sleeves to make progress in ambiguous, high-velocity environments
Strong financial and operational fluency; comfortable with metrics, models, and business KPIs
Bias for action and ownership — seeing projects through from strategy to execution
Must be in SF or willing to relocate (hybrid 3 days/week in office)
