Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities of a large enclave comprised of various hardware, software, and network components to include server architecture, virtual machines, managed switches, NAS, VLANs, and VPNs
Develop and carry out strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture and technology with minimal impact
Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions
Network administration including installing, configuring, and maintaining net devices; configuring various routing protocols, troubleshooting multi-hop connectivity, throughput, and latency; setting up firewalls
Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery
Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM
Responsible for user-level support, including interacting with system-savvy developers and analysts, resolving network, computer, and virtual system issues & anomalies
Maintain enclave documentation (network diagram, system names, IP addresses, barcodes, etc.); provide monthly activity report to include system outages
Experience deploying and maintaining nginx; system monitoring platforms like OpenVAS, Prometheus and Grafana; SELinux and FIPS
Knowledge of LatteArt/Biscotti, Netseer, SEAR logging

Required

Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) to fifteen (15) years of relevant systems administration experience or equivalent
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
Design, maintain, and support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities of a large enclave comprised of various hardware, software, and network components
Network administration including installing, configuring, and maintaining net devices
Configuring various routing protocols, troubleshooting multi-hop connectivity, throughput, and latency
Setting up firewalls
Responsible for secure infrastructure and vulnerability corrections, data security, compliance, and backups and recovery
Maintain SSPs, STE/STN requirements via RMF, Netseer, SEAR logging, patching, IAVMs, McAfee, and UAM
