Responsibilities
Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures
Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures
Operator will be responsible for the blending of lines using multiples sanding tools to meet engineering requirements
Operator must have excellent hand to eye coordination and good hand dexterity
Must be able to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques
Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures
Other various duties as needed or as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to read and write the English language
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must be able to work in standing position up to 10 hours
Must be proficient in basic shop math and computer experience
Must be safety oriented and follow safety policy
Operator must have excellent hand to eye coordination and good hand dexterity
Must be able to lift and move parts using required safety and material handling techniques
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment
