Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries
Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed

Qualification

Surgical Technologist ProgramAST CertificationBasic Life SupportDiploma

Required

High School Diploma, Certificate, GED, training or experience required
Basic Life Support
Minimum Required Experience: 1 year

Preferred

Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program Preferred
AST Certification (preferred) or minimum of 1 year (preferred) of extensive experience in the surgical setting as a surgical technologist
