Ensures that all payments are posted correctly to patient accounts
Identifies and resolves discrepancies

Reviews remittance advice
Manages denials or short pays
Contributes to process improvements to optimize hospital revenue

Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience working with insurance remittances (EOBs/ERAs) and payer guidelines
