Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish
Develop and manage project schedules and timelines
Monitor project progress and adjust as needed
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members
Prepare and submit project documentation and reports
Identify and mitigate project risks
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Conduct site visits and inspections
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials
Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Provide regular updates to senior management
Ensure all project deliverables meet client expectations
Facilitate project meetings and discussions
Support the project team in achieving project goals
Monitor and report on project performance
Procore items include, but are not limited to: It is 100% the PM’s responsibility to keep project information up to date and current for the duration of all projects in Procore. Manage and input all RFI’s, RFP’s, and Bulletins from start to finish so all questions are answered. Drawings, Job Set Up Specifications, Submittals, RFI’s & RFP, Documents
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Civil Project Coordinator or similar role for 10+ years
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, or Primavera
Must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programs and bidding software
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
We are seeking an individual with 10+ years of experience in the Civil Construction industry
Must have excellent leadership skills, be a strong communicator, and have a 'take ownership' attitude
Willing to travel up to 75% of your time
Valid driver's license with safe driving record (required)
High level of attention to detail, initiative, problem-solving, personal organizational, and leadership skills
Takes ownership of responsibilities
Strong strategic thinking
Ability to work with project team members, clients, and subcontractors to achieve team goals
Ability to meet contract objectives on time and within budget
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management is a plus
At least 5 years of experience in a field-related role in transportation, concrete construction, or heavy civil construction
Experience with construction management software such as PROCORE, and Bluebeam a plus
Construction Project Coordinator: 5+ years Preferred in Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil
General Roadway, Highway, or Heavy Civil for 8+ years
Excellent problem-solving skills are backed by solid technical knowledge
