Sr. Manager, Newbuild Strategy

The Senior Manager, Newbuild Strategy serves as a strategic partner to the SVP of Strategy & Commercial for Newbuild, driving operational excellence and managing strategic priorities to enhance team productivity and collaboration.
Travel
Responsibilities
Translate the SVP’s strategic vision into actionable plans and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
Drive execution of key initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes
Monitor progress of strategic priorities and escalate risks or roadblocks proactively
Manage the SVP’s operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic offsites
Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-ups for executive meetings and external engagements
Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the SVP
Serve as a liaison between the SVP and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication
Draft executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences
Facilitate decision-making by synthesizing complex information and presenting clear recommendations
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the Strategy & Commercial team
Act as a sounding board and advisor to senior leaders, helping shape organizational priorities and team dynamics
Support talent development and team engagement initiatives
Ensure governance processes are followed for strategic initiatives, including documentation, approvals, and reporting
Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or business operations, ideally within the cruise, hospitality, or travel industry
Proven experience working with senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; able to synthesize data and insights into actionable strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing executive-level materials
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strategic planning tools; familiarity with financial modeling and KPIs
Preferred
Spanish language proficiency is a plus
