They are seeking a Facilities Engineering Intern for Summer 2026, where the intern will learn about specialty gas distribution systems, assist in engineering design activities, and collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities
Learn Specialty and Bulk gas distribution systems across the site
Develop and evaluate key system metrics and reporting. Utilize data for continuous improvement
Perform project planning, technical analysis and evaluation of system options and alternatives
Perform engineering design activities for assigned systems; these will include capital upgrade evaluations and planning, and expense projects
Assist and learn maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gas systems in conjunction with Technicians and Engineers
Work with other Facilities departments, including the FAB manufacturing team, to troubleshoot and solve gas-related issues
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Qualification
Required
Education – Actively pursuing a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering Degree or related field
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship
Preferred
Prior related internship or co-op experience
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
