Develop new FEL operation modes to enable new science at LCLS, with special emphasis on attosecond science
Advance knowledge of FEL physics
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Accelerator Physics or related field
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Experience with X-ray free electron lasers and related physics
Experience with numerical simulations of particle accelerators
