Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle—from identifying leads to closing deals—with a focus on building long-term partnerships
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring they’re supported and informed as their needs evolve
Stay current on our platform’s capabilities and communicate its value clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Use a mix of outreach strategies (email, networking, events) to identify new opportunities and grow our presence
Research and prioritize key accounts and decision-makers in your territory
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities to support data-driven decision-making
Represent Lightcast at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build awareness and generate leads
Qualification
Required
MSc or PhD in Biology, Immunology, or a related life sciences field
1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (sales, business development, or similar)
Familiarity with techniques such as fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, antibody discovery/development, or cell therapy
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Willingness to travel frequently (up to 60%) and a valid driver's license
