Froedtert Health is a regional health network that operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center. They are seeking students enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy education program for a paid internship where interns will perform basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff and will have a mentor for guidance.

Performs basic duties to support the Respiratory Care Staff in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Respiratory Therapy EducationBasic Life Support (BLS)Patient Care ExperienceOrganization SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program is required
Student will remain in good standing
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred

Experience working in a patient care setting (hospital, nursing home) is preferred
Inventory/stocking experience is preferred
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
