Responsibilities

Work on projects that enhance skills in areas such as 5G Technology, AR/VR and Computer Vision, Application development, and more
Participate in the Intern Marquee event to sharpen professional development skills, build connections, and be inspired by top executive speakers
Qualification
Required
Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule
Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related majors with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029
Attendance at Rutgers University
Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (ex: Python, Java)
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office
Willing and able to travel
Willing and able to relocate
Preferred
Demonstrated strong written and communication skills
Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Knowledge of mobile development (ex: IOS, Android)
Knowledge of service Application Programming Interface (API) Integration (ex: Microservices, Restful APIs, Web services)
Knowledge of Web Development (ex: Frameworks, browsers, and embedded applications)
Understanding of QA, automation tools, and/or Secure SW development cycle
