Responsibilities
Prepare cost (break down) analyzes and cost/value optimization, for products and tools in stages of supply chain processes in cooperation with sales and purchasing organization units
Create costing within the request for quote (RFQ) processes and provide systematic cost optimization analyses for products
Drive supply chain specific value and cost optimization programs, internally and with suppliers
Provide expertise in negotiations for Supplier Management or Category Management respectively
Prepare trainings and give active support, e.g. cost structure analyses and in design-to-cost workshops
Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
1 year of previous relevant experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage and resolve conflict, business dealings and the ability to work in a team
Knowledge of world class manufacturing, engineering, and/or project management
External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
Preferred
Graduate Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
