They are seeking an IT Director to lead their Information Technology department, overseeing IT operations, infrastructure, security, and support while fostering a high-performing IT culture. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to build a forward-looking IT strategy that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute AGBO’s IT roadmap aligned with studio goals

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team that embodies a culture of service and innovation

Partner with creative, production, and executive teams to anticipate needs and design scalable, future ready solutions

Oversee company-wide systems, network infrastructure, hardware, and software management

Ensure seamless day-to-day IT operations across hybrid/remote and on-site environments across AGBO’s multiple worksites enabling employees to work effectively anywhere

Standardize and document IT processes, policies, and best practices to drive operational consistency

Establish IT as a customer centric partner, providing clear communication, and proactive support

Own cybersecurity strategy and ensure compliance with industry standards

Manage data protection policies, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning to maintain business continuity

Provide IT solutions tailored to VFX, animation, gaming, and content production environments

Partner with creative technology teams to support emerging workflows (virtual production, cloud-based collaboration, render pipelines, etc.)

Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and IT budgets

Evaluate and implement new technologies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, scalability and enhancing the creative process
