Director, Enterprise Sales – Automotive Industry

The Director of Enterprise Sales will drive new business within the automotive sector, focusing on identifying and closing strategic sales opportunities with major players in the industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on key automotive accounts
Build and manage a pipeline of prospects using a mix of cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, and inbound interest
Understand each client’s business model, pain points, and global communication needs to recommend appropriate solutions
Present and promote TransPerfect’s full suite of services and technology platforms, including interpretation, digital localization, technical documentation, and global content management
Collaborate with internal solution specialists and production teams to build custom proposals and project budgets
Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
Represent TransPerfect at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings (domestic & international travel required)

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6–10+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in the automotive, mobility, or manufacturing sector
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close multi-stakeholder deals
Strong consultative selling skills — you know how to uncover needs, propose tailored solutions, and build lasting relationships
Experience selling services or SaaS-based solutions to enterprise clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to change

Preferred

Existing network within the automotive OEM or supplier ecosystem
Knowledge of automotive product development lifecycles, compliance standards, or digital experience platforms
Experience working with international or multilingual teams
