CJ Logistics America is looking for a dynamic Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to drive operational excellence. In this role, you will implement the CJ Logistics Operating System, utilizing data analytics to enhance efficiency and profitability while leading continuous improvement efforts across logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Support the flawless implementation and ongoing execution of the CJL Operating System in both new and existing Logistics Center operations

Engage with customers and internal leadership to solve problems creatively, utilizing a data-driven approach

Analyze current performance, identify strategic opportunities, and establish clear action plans

Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop documented design solutions with the goal of reducing complexity and creating universal standards using Lean techniques

Provide support for CI projects, utilizing data analytics to drive operational excellence

Analyze items, zoning, picklines, and capacity, and maintain the inventory locator system

Lead Continuous Improvement efforts, motivate teams, and secure buy-in from all levels to ensure effective and lasting change

Effectively convey insights, project status, risks, and opportunities to cross-functional teams and management

Mentor and coach team members

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred (or 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Warehousing, or Transportation)

1+ years of industrial engineering experience in a distribution environment is highly valued

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Proficiency in SQL, data pulling, and data analytics

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Hands-on, practical problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal abilities

The ability to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends) as needed

The ability to travel up to 10% to other facilities or client locations
