Responsibilities

Maintain Vertex and Avalara taxability, parts mapping, and exemption certificate functionality

Assist with conducting sales/use tax research and documenting tax positions for existing and new product offerings

Assist with managing sales/use tax audits and appeals

Process and analyze business data to support sales and use tax audits and process improvement

Assist with the integration of newly acquired companies’ sales/use tax activities

Provide excellent customer service by responding on a timely basis to business unit and external customer inquiries on sales and use tax matters including application of tax exemptions and taxability determination

Identifying and realizing sales/use tax savings opportunities

Identifying and reducing risks of sales/use tax exposure

Assist with developing and providing sales tax training for internal departments, including AR, AP, Sales, Procurement, etc

Perform other duties as assigned
