ISEC, Inc. is a company focused on commercial construction projects, and they are seeking a Preconstruction Intern to assist Project Managers and Estimators. This role will involve contributing to project operations, estimating, and documentation processes, while gaining exposure to various aspects of construction management.

Responsibilities

Assist with quantity take-offs and estimates using ISEC’s proprietary estimating software

Attend pre-bid meetings, kickoff meetings, and post-bid review sessions

Collect and compare vendor quotes (RFQs) and assist in in-house pricing efforts

Coordinate with Business Development to align bids with sales strategy

Support Purchasing in material buyout processes and vendor management

Review architectural drawings to identify scope and material needs

Required

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program, preferably in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
