They are seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist who will function as a scrub person during surgical procedures, prepare surgical instruments, and assist with cleaning and preparing the operating room for subsequent patients.

Responsibilities

Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures

Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas

Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients

Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification

Surgical Technologist courseOperating room experienceASC experienceORT certificationDiploma

Required

High school diploma or GED certification

Completion of Surgical Technologist course

Two years previous operating room experience

Preferred

ASC experience preferred

ORT certification preferred
