Create or complete finite element models using loads data

Support large-scale projects

Lead and support an engineering team

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience with finite element modeling using FEMAP or Patran

Experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools, Catia, or SolidWorks

Ability to support large-scale projects

Ability to create or complete finite element models using loads data obtained from the original equipment manufacturer or from structural test fixtures

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field such as ME, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering and 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, or Master's degree in an Engineering field such as ME, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering and 8+ years of experience in the aerospace industry

Preferred

Ability to create CAD designs of aircraft primary or secondary structural assemblies, installations, and detail parts

Top Secret clearance

Master's degree in ME, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering preferred; Doctorate degree in ME, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering a plus
